In Matthew 24, Jesus gives the disciples a list of things that must occur before His return and before the end of the world. He shares with them, signs of the end times. Do these signs precede His return in the rapture for His Church, which could happen any moment, or His return in the second coming – in judgment? Jesus speaks of false Christs, wars, famine, pestilences, earthquakes, Christian persecution, lawlessness, a coming abomination of desolation, great tribulation, and devastating signs in the heavens. Matthew 24:8 states, like birth pains, these calamities will increase and intensify as the end approaches. Are we witnessing the signs Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24? Are we the generation that will see all of these things come to pass?
